If you're having problems with your antivirus program, simply follow the instructions below. PLEASE NOTE: This is only available to customers of Nerds to the Rescue who had AVG or COMODO installed on their computers by one of our techs. We are not responsible for any damage to your system if you install this update and you are not one of those customers!



1) First, you need to uninstall AVG or COMODO from your computer. To do this click START>ALL PROGRAMS and locate the AVG or COMODO folder (whichever you have). Inside that will be a link to uninstall the program. Click that and follow the instructions. You will be prompted to restart your computer.

2) After you have restarted your computer, click one of the links below:

WINDOWS XP
VISTA
VISTA 64-bit

3) IF YOU'RE USING MOZILLA FIREFOX: click on the SAVE button when it appears and wait for the program to download. Then, in Firefox go to TOOLS>DOWNLOADS and find the SECURITY program you just downloaded and right-click it and select OPEN.

IF YOU'RE USING INTERNET EXPLORER: click on the RUN button.

4) Follow the instructions to install the program. The program will ask if you want to scan the computer after installation - this is not necessary - you can uncheck that if you want.
